7 African Startups Receive Funding From Digital Transformation Challenge For Africa

The Digital Transformation Challenge for Africa in Paris awarded grants to seven African startups.

Startups, venture capitalists, development finance institutions, and corporations all gathered in Paris with a common purpose: to speed up the “Corporates x Innovation” programme and create new, sustainable enterprises and industries in Africa.

A panel discussion was held with a group of specialists to discuss “What can we do together to establish stronger Mobility and Healthcare businesses in Africa by 2050?”

Seven entrepreneurs, chosen from a pool of more than two hundred and forty, made outstanding presentations and split seven prizes from a trio of sponsors.

Ikechukwu Anoke (Zuri Health) and Eric Bemba (Wiikko), were supported by Verod-Kepple. 

Among the health54-supported contenders are Jean Lobe Lobe (Waspito), Bola Bardet (Susu), and Jason-Louis C. (Tibu).

Proud Munashe Chitumba (Drive to Own), Balqis Chepkwony (Fleetsimplify), were all backed by mobility54.
