Algeria Post has launched a project to integrate startups and micro-enterprises such as “Authorized Money Agents” which is part of a “new strategy aimed at accelerating the pace of the operation of generalization and promotion of electronic payment services adopted by the sector.
“Continuing in its process of modernizing and adapting its economic model to changes in new technologies, the company Algérie Poste announces the adoption of a new strategy aimed at accelerating the pace of the operation of generalization and promotion of electronic payment services, relying on the network of start-ups and micro-enterprises,” the statement said.

- This partnership is focused on a national acceptance network consisting of startups and micro-enterprises chosen, trained and then approved by Algeria Poste. The statement also stressed that this strategy aims to “encourage and boost these enterprises to support the national economy.”

- “The tasks of these “Registered Money Agents” will be to “install and/or assist economic operators in the contracting phase with Algeria Post for the deployment of electronic payment instruments, the installation and/or maintenance of Algeria Post’s proximity electronic payment instruments,” the statement added.
- The project also intends “the integration of e-commerce merchant websites into the payment platform of Algeria Post and the support of the after-sales service, the statement added further.
- Companies interested in this project are invited to download the specifications free of charge via the official Algerian Post website, the statement said.
