Fintechs will be associated with these different industry partners, allowing them to work flexibly to unlock new growth opportunities. Benefits include workshops, marketing and PR exhibition, networking, partnerships and access to DIFC’s regulatory sandbox through its innovation testing license. DIFC will also make its $100 million investment fund available.

In addition, by offering two innovation sprints, the DIFC FinTech Hive Accelerator will be able to fund more startups than ever before, further strengthening the DIFC’s Innovation ecosystem. This builds on DIFC’s performance in 2020, when the number of businesses in its FinTech and innovation ecosystem more than doubled to 303.
