Mobility 54 Investment, a corporate venture capital subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation and CFAO, has invested in SparePap, a Kenyan after sales marketplace.
Sparepap’s investment aims to improve after-sales quality by addressing a lack of transparency in services and goods, as well as wasteful processes.
In Kenya, the CFAO group has been developing its network of after sales for numerous brands.
Using group after sales knowledge is projected to provide a series of synergies with Sparepap.
A Look At What The Startup Does
Sparepap, founded in 2019, provides a seamless digital solution for automobile owners’ convenient and effective access to spare parts and car maintenance, as well as the possibility for parts merchants and service providers to reach a wider audience. Sparepap is the motorist’s one-stop solution for auto maintenance, with loan facilities for car emergencies and digital car insurance (with partners) on the horizon.

The Sparepap app enables car owners to locate, compare prices for, and purchase replacement parts from trusted merchants verified by Sparepap, all while having them delivered at their convenience.
By advertising their inventory in the program, merchants can access a larger market and enjoy improved sales from a larger audience.
Sparepap provides automobile owners with vetted, competent, and trusted mechanics on demand, especially when they are out of reach of their local mechanic.
Additionally, automobile owners can use the Sparepap app to arrange car servicing appointments with verified corporate and local service centers and garages that are verified in Sparepap systems.
