Yves Guillemot, Founder & CEO of French video games giant Ubisoft S.A. has invested an undisclosed amount of money in Franco-Nigerian startup Africa Delivery Technologies SAS, that operates the Kwik Delivery platform in Nigeria.
The investment, part of Kwik’s ongoing Series A round, aims to allow the company to scale up in Nigeria as delivery platforms have proven an essential link to Africa’s last-mile delivery supply chains in the current context.

A Look At What The Startup Does:
Launched in Lagos, Nigeria, in June 2019, Kwik Delivery is an on-demand delivery platform focusing on the rich and diverse B2B and B2B2C market. It was developed and operated by French-Nigerian company Africa Delivery Technologies. The startup currently operates in Lagos, Nigeria, and is looking to expand to other cities in the country and elsewhere in the near future.
In November of 2019, Kwik announced that it had entered into a partnership with Winpart, a leading spare parts major distributor in Africa to deliver products to customers in real time. The partnership would help Winpart and their customers grow their business while managing their inventory with quasi just-in-time leanness.
Just two months after its launch in Lagos, the startup reached 2000 verified customers and was already well on its way toward 3000 verified customers.
