The second season of Game Drive, MY.GAMES Venture Capital’s (MGVC) and Google ’s business acceleration initiative for mobile gaming startups, has begun. This is the second phase of a cooperation that was signed in November 2020 and involves game developers from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This time, the two titans have decided to contribute $30 million to the studios and projects.
Mobile game developers are being encouraged by MGVC and Google to submit their ideas to a panel of experts for guidance and feedback on their businesses, with the goal of assisting them in growing even farther and faster. Game Drive, in turn, assists MGVC and Google in identifying “untapped talent.”
“Your project must be available on Google Play. We consider projects in Early Access, soft launch, and MVP. We accept applications from developers residing in the following countries and regions: Russia, CIS, Western Europe, Turkey, Israel, Middle East, and Africa,” Google says in a statement.
Up to ten successful applicants will be granted a place in the Game Drive 2021 program.
