ABA Technology, a Moroccan company specializing in the design and manufacture of electronic cards and connected sensors, as well as the integration of IT solutions, and the development of connectivity solutions and software, has acquired, Devcorp, a Franco-Moroccan startup specializing in the development of IT solutions for businesses, seven years after the startup was founded in Morocco.
Devcorp is active in the Moroccan and international markets in a variety of fields, including logistics (with the TMS “Logistix,” which manages the entire logistics chain from order to delivery) and Fintech (with “Paybreaker,” a mobile application that generates virtual bank cards from real bank cards to avoid online disclosure of bank details and facilitate cost sharing).
Devcorp operates on three business models: It charges per day for custom software development; and the Devcorp LAB, where solutions generated are either sold or rented to consumers after being customized to their needs. The startup hires developers on a monthly subscription basis.

Devcorp’s clients are mostly European businesses. In recent years, however, the business has won a dozen significant Moroccan customers, as well as two Middle Eastern clients.
Devcorp intends to enlarge its objective and expand its operations in Africa and the Middle East as a first step before expanding its services internationally.
The firm, which has been operating in France since 2012 and in Morocco since 2014, was recently chosen as one of nine startups to represent Morocco at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, United States.
