Egyptian Healthtech Startup DilenyTech Secures $160k Grant Funding

Dileny Technologies (DilenyTech) LLC, an Egypt-based health-tech startup, has received a $160.00 non-equity award. To enhance and expedite breast cancer screening, the fund will be used to extend its AI-Enabled network. The fund was raised from the Information Technology Academy Partnership (ITAC) program associated with the Development Agency for the Information Technology Industry (ITIDA). The fund was received a few months after a US patent for a new AI-enabled image analysis technology was granted to the startup.

“DilenyTech aims to revolutionize breast cancer screening and diagnostic workflow via providing innovative AI assistance for more accurate breast cancer detection and expedited reporting. Thousands of healthcare professionals can access our online platform anytime/anywhere. This shall reduce patients’ suffering due to long waiting time as well asinaccurate diagnosis,” said Dr. Ahmed Ehab Mahmoud, Founder, and chief innovation officer.
