Egyptian Ecommerce Enablement Startup Zeew Secures $170k Funding

Sanabil 500 MENA Seed Accelerator, a collaborative initiative of Sanabil Investments and 500 companies, has awarded $170,000 to Egypt-based ecommerce enablement platform Zeew. According to the startup’s creator Mohamed Ghaith, this raises the total amount raised to $400,000.

Businesses of all sizes can use Zeew to create online stores. It currently serves clients in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and last-mile delivery.

“There are over 1 million businesses on Shopify today without a delivery system, and with our automated platform we have created a full ecosystem for businesses, in few clicks, the business ecommerce store is created and connected to its native client ordering apps, vendor apps, drivers apps, dispatcher, accounting system and more,” said Ghaith.

The money will be used to help the firm expand globally, get more clients, and enter other relevant verticals. The software is now utilized in more than 160 nations around the world.

Egyptian Software-as-a-service Startup Zeew Raises Six-figure Seed Round

Zeew, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup based in Egypt, has raised a six-figure investment seed round from angel investors based in Estonia. In order to develop its team and expand its marketing activities, the startup aims to use the investment to add more features and tailor its product offering to suit the needs of each market.
