Telecom Operator Moov Benin Becomes Moov Africa
“Today and from January 1 in Benin, a new telecommunications brand has been born on the African continent. This is Moov Africa. These words were spoken by Omar Nahil, former general manager of Moov Benin. He is now the big boss of Moov Africa. The company has thus gone from Green to Blue.
Moov is the brand of the African subsidiaries of the Maroc Telecom group. It is flanked by 11 companies in Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Central African Republic, Chad and Togo. All are now federated within Moov Africa and will no longer have a specific identity.

This rebranding is intended to support Moov’s engagement and efforts with the 10 million customers the company serves every day. It is in line with the vision of the parent company: “Africa on the move”. This resides in the principle of sharing the know-how of the Maroc Telecom group and its capacity for innovation. This for the benefit of the markets in which it operates.
