Egyptian Health Insurance startup Nice Deer Bags $1m Pre-seed
Nice Deer, an health insurance tech firm located in Egypt, has raised $1 million in a pre-seed fundraising round led by DisrupTech Ventures.
It was established in 2022 and is currently based in Egypt. By enabling insurance and insurance claim reimbursement, the firm hopes to bridge the gap between health care providers, health insurance companies, and beneficiaries.
It connects medical service providers and insurance organizations through a single platform and facilitates communication between doctors and patients.

“Nice Deer aims to become the helping arm of the insurance industry in Egypt to grow smoothly and work to close the gap between providers and beneficiaries through a number of pioneering medical services and solutions in line with the unified insurance law,” Mustafa Medhat, CEO of Nice Deer, said.
The company also makes it easier to approve and pay pharmaceutical, radiography, and scan requests while adhering to the requirements of insurance paperwork and without exceeding the maximum disbursement limitations for each beneficiary.
