Ghana Increases Passport Fees, Introduces 48-page Passport Booklet 

Ghana ’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced an upward review of fees and services for passports and other travel documents.

The Ministry in a press statement said the new fees approved by Parliament take effect from February 1, 2020.

Ghana has  also announced that it has introduced a 48-page Passport Booklet which will be available from February 1.

The new fee for an ordinary 32-page passport has been increased to GH?100 from GH?50 while an ordinary 48-page passport is pegged at GH?150.

The fee for an expedited (express) 32-page passport and an expedited (express) 48-page will also go for GH?150.00 and GH?200.00 respectively.

Individuals will now pay GH?37.50 for the Attestation of Legal Documents and pay the same amount for a Travel Certificate.
