Apple Makes Its Services Available in More Countries Including Many in Africa

Apple has announced that more customers around the world can enjoy many of Apple’s most popular Services. The App Store®, Apple Arcade™, Apple Music®, Apple Podcasts® and iCloud® as more countries have been added to the Apple services networks with Apple Music being available in 52 additional countries. Speaking on the expansion, Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and International Content notes that “we’re delighted to bring many of Apple’s most beloved Services to users in more countries than ever before,” adding that “we hope our customers can discover their new favorite apps, games, music and podcasts as we continue to celebrate the world’s best creators, artists and developers.”

The Africa countries where The App Store, Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and iCloud are now available are Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Libya, Morocco, Rwanda, and Zambia. Those in the Asia-Pacific: Maldives and Myanmar. Those in Europe are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia. The Middle East are Afghanistan (excluding Apple Music) and Iraq while Oceania is Nauru (excluding Apple Music), Tonga, and Vanuatu.

In a similar vein, Apple Music is also expanding to the following countries and regions such as Africa: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Chad, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, and Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Tunisia. In Latin America and the Caribbean, the countries are the Bahamas, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Turks and Caicos, and Uruguay.
