Angels Pour Funds In Ethiopian Delivery Startup, Eshi Express

Eshi Express, a last-mile delivery startup, has closed a seed funding round from Addis Ababa Angles Network. The amount of money Eshi received is undisclosed.

Eshi Express aspires to tackle the last-mile delivery dilemma by leveraging streamlined procedures and cutting-edge technology to provide convenience and reduced product prices, allowing businesses to develop without incurring additional costs.

Eshi hopes to grow up its company and extend to numerous regional locations shortly, thanks to the new investment and strategic backing from AAA Network.

This is the second time AAA has made a formal investment. Last year, the angel network also invested in Across Express, a logistics startup. Across Express is a platform that links people with service providers for delivery and freight transport needs.

Addis Ababa Angels Network, founded in 2020 by a group of investors, invests in businesses and entrepreneurs in exchange for equity ownership, with the goal of creating a vibrant startup ecosystem in Ethiopia that tackles the existing financing gap and targets early-stage creative firms.

A Look At What Eshi Express Does

Founded in 2017 by Tigabu Haile, customers can order delivery service via Eshi’s call center-number 670 or the Eshi App available for download on the App Store and Google Play which allows people to place and track orders live from pick up all the way to delivery.
