The Mastercard Foundation-funded project will build the groundwork for the evolution of angel investing, bringing together all ecosystem participants to assist innovative young entrepreneurs.

Here Is What You Need To Know

  • One of the ways the FDRE Jobs Creation Commission is supporting private sector development is by identifying and co-implementing alternative, creative funding arrangements.
  • Yegara.org is a website with the goal of providing ecosystem-focused and creative financial services through a dedicated workforce and cutting-edge technology. Businesses can build profiles and advertise themselves to investors on this platform, and investors can choose from a variety of startups to partner with. This removes the barriers to financing for startups and aids investors in locating appropriate enterprises with well-organized profiles and structured demands.
  • New businesses can promote their information to investors on this platform, and investors can select enterprises they want to invest in and become supporting partners.
  • It will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, collaborators, and innovators in order to strengthen the startup ecosystem and dynamically contribute to closing the important funding gap.
  • It is expected that it will act as one of the alternative ways of financing to fuel entrepreneurship and job creation in Ethiopia through its community of change-makers.

How To Apply

Registering on the portal is free from payment. Entrepreneurs can easily register their enterprises at www.yegara.org by filling out the required information. Following that, firms will be confirmed after submitting the requested papers in accordance with the verification received.
