Egyptian Fintech Startups Invited To Apply For Fintech Startup Seed Challenge

The Seed Challenge — FinTech Egypt has been launched by Orange Ventures and is open to Egyptian fintech entrepreneurs with a strong vision and a desire for innovation and expansion.

Orange Ventures is the Orange Group’s corporate venture capital arm. Orange Ventures and Orange Egypt are launching a Seed Challenge to invest up to 500K Euro in a fintech business in Egypt, following the official opening of the Orange Digital Center in Cairo on December 12th.

In addition to the funding, Orange Egypt invites the winning firm to spend six months at the Orange Digital Center (workspace, Orange Fab mentorship programs), pitch to the Orange Egypt Executive Committee, and discuss partnership opportunities.

To qualify, the company must be a tech-driven startup focusing on fintech. It must also be mainly operating in Egypt, and must be a seed-stage company, that has not raised more than € 1M in total equity funding
