Network International Appoints New Group Managing Director, Processing Business – Africa

Network International (www.Network.ae), the leading enabler of digital commerce across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has announced the internal appointment of Dr. Reda Helal as Group Managing Director, Processing Business – Africa and co-head Group Processing. In his new role, Reda will be responsible for leading and growing a client-focused business unit serving financial institutions, fintechs and payment partners across all African geographies served by the Group.

Reda is passionate about payments innovation, financial inclusion and cashless societies. He brings over two decades of experience in digital payments, strategic planning and execution, new market entries and leadership practices in multinational payments organisations. Reda has been with Network International since 2007 and most recently served as Group Chief Sales Officer for Processing. He also helped launch the company’s business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, Reda held various leadership roles in international banks across the Middle East, Africa and North America.

Recently, Network International announced 31% growth in year-on-year total revenue for H1 2022 with Africa growing 21% year-on-year excluding DPO Group (www.DPOGroup.com) which Network International acquired in 2021 in a landmark deal for the African payments landscape.
