African Startups Looking To Raise Up To $10m In Series A Invited To Apply For 2021 VC4A Venture Showcase
VC4A is searching for 8 high-growth, innovative firms to present to its worldwide network of African-focused investors. The firms must be based in Africa, generate revenue, and be looking to raise a Series A financing of between $1.5 million and $10 million.
Companies participating in the program gain access to 200+ investors from the curated VC4A investor network, as well as interviews with top VC funds as part of the vetting process. The finalists receive one-on-one mentoring and technical guidance from angel investors and venture capital fund managers, as well as a spotlight appearance at the Africa Early Stage Investor Summit.

During the period 2017–2020, the company picked 80 scale-ups from around the continent as part of five showcase programs, which resulted in a number of Series A deals for more than $150 million.
