Splendapp, based in Egypt, has raised an undisclosed pre-Seed round from a group of Saudi angel investors. The money will be used to improve the company’s software stack and speed its expansion in Egypt and across the GCC region in the following six months.
“Besides expansion, this round will enable us to invest heavily in our product and team. I am excited about what’s ahead,” co-founder Mohamed Khaled said.
Splendapp, founded in 2020 by Mohamed Khaled and Mohamed Shahin, is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that allows customers to create IOS and Android mobile apps in just 48 hours. The software enables users to make changes without requiring technical support from others.

Splendapp has recently assisted clients in three countries with the development of mobile applications.
In the midst of Egypt’s and the region’s current e-commerce growth, the company is also looking to meet the needs of small shops and help them move to the digital sphere. Splendapp is designed to be easily linked with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Woocommerce, Wix, Magento, and others, therefore the company’s current focus is on producing e-commerce apps.
