Egyptian AI-powered Screening Startup DilenyTech Acquired By US-based Astute 

 Astute Imaging LLC, a provider of image-guided therapy based in the United States, announced the acquisition of Cairo-based HealthTech and AI-powered deep technology screening company DilenyTech. Astute Imaging will be able to utilize the power of AI to enhance its present offering, extend services, and develop innovative solutions in the medical imaging area as a result of the acquisition.

Dileny Technology (DilenyTech) is a forward-thinking startup that develops and installs cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to streamline radiology operations. It focuses on applications for medical imaging analysis, risk assessment for breast cancer, and structured reporting for a variety of medical applications. 

This acquisition represents a significant milestone for the Cairo-based startup, as it merges with Astute Imaging, a healthcare information technology solutions company focused on developing disruptive artificial intelligence solutions to advance image-guided therapy and procedure planning in cardiovascular and interventional radiology.

Astute Imaging is concentrating its efforts on using cutting-edge artificial intelligence and cloud technologies in order to enhance its patented imaging software and enable precision medicine for healthcare professionals and device manufacturers. 

DilenyTech created a number of vendor-neutral AI-based proprietary technologies for radiology workflows, with a particular emphasis on women’s health. The company was recently given a US patent for its revolutionary artificial intelligence (AI) technology in medical imaging and has supplied services to a number of leading worldwide healthcare companies and medical organizations.

Astute Imaging plans to introduce an AI-powered aorta tracking tool to empower providers with proactive patient-centric services. For medical device makers, Astute Imaging plans to integrate AI into its imaging core lab and procedure planning services to provide seamless workflow and device tracking.

“This acquisition will help Astute Imaging to expedite the introduction of AI into its cloud-based platform for image-guided therapy and workflow automation utilizing millions of procedure data assets to drive faster and enhanced services.” Ewald de Vries, co-founder, and Astute imaging CTO indicated. “Incorporating AI into our cloud-based alert management system and creating data-driven predictive algorithms for procedure planning will make our offering very powerful and unique.”

Additionally, Astute imaging intends to create and offer predictive models for cardiovascular case planning, as well as to extend into new sectors such as women’s health and cancer therapy. Predictive models will assist businesses in gaining a better understanding of future advancements to interventional devices used in image-guided treatments, particularly in the cardiovascular and cancer sectors.
