Egypt-based Edtech Startup Sprints Secures $1.2m In Series A Funding Round

Egypt-based edutech firm Sprints has secured Series A investment of $1.2 million. The Alexandria Angels Network, along with members from MED Angels, Cubit Ventures, Challenge Fund, EdVentures, Falak Startups, and Cairo Angels, spearheaded the investment round.

“Over the past two years, the company has successfully delivered 20,000 learning experiences. The company aims to revolutionise the technology sector by raising skills and employing one million young people,” Ayman Bazraa, co-founder and CEO of Sprints, said.

To close the skills gap, Sprints, a technology-focused talent support organization, offers a complete solution, including talent pool assessments, tailored training programs, job placement assistance, and post-graduation career progression.

All graduates will benefit from the startup’s guaranteed placement programs, which are paid for in instalments without interest.

Sprints was founded in 2019 by Ayman Bazraa and Bassam Sharkawy and aims to help young individuals in the Middle East and Africa region who are interested in pursuing a career in software development.
