Egyptian On-Demand Delivery Startup Gooo Delivery Raises Pre-seed Round

Gooo Delivery, an on-demand delivery service located in Egypt, has closed a pre-Seed round. “Gooo” was founded in 2020 to provide point-to-point delivery services using mobile applications. Users can use the app to order meals, medications, and groceries from a network of partner retailers, which are then picked up by Gooo runners and delivered to the customer.

The Middle East and North Africa region is experiencing growth in the on-demand delivery services apps arena, with revenues hitting $9 billion in March of this year. In Egypt, this market grew by 8% last year, reaching $2.5 billion. The Gooo team sees the expansion of on-demand delivery services as an opportunity to flourish and gain a competitive advantage.
